Keeping your lawn healthy and maintained can be a lot of hard work. The Husqvarna Automower® is a robotic concept that can be trusted to do the work for you — without your supervision, around the clock.
This ‘cutting edge’ design features a rotating cutter disc supporting three cutter blades that cut the grass.
The Husqvarna Automower® is the perfect solution for homeowners who want a healthy and pristine lawn, without the time commitment or noise of a traditional mower.
This robotic mower can easily handle wet and rainy conditions, as well as difficult terrain, including slopes, holes and even temporary obstacles like fruit or rocks. A random travelling pattern also lets the Automower® find every corner of your yard.
The Automower® is so quiet that it can work in the night without disturbing anyone, whilst through the mower’s very own app (available for selected models), you’ll also have total control of its working hours.
Rest assured that your The Husqvarna Automower® can easily handle complex areas with various obstacles. It can mow lawns with inclines of up to 45% (24°), whilst fitting into tight spaces that traditional mowers wouldn’t reach.
The Automower® will also work through wet, rainy and windy conditions without the quality of the cut being affected.
The Automower® leaves behind tiny clippings that you won’t even notice, so there is no need to collect them. In fact, recycling your grass clippings is a great source of nitrogen and can act as a natural fertiliser for your lawn.
Once set up, The Husqvarna Automower® is guided by boundary wires around your yard. Within the marked areas, it moves in irregular patterns so that there are no lines or defined mowing tracks left behind. The Automower® leaves no inch of grass within its boundary untouched.
You can even control the Automower® remotely from your Smartphone through the mower app!
With its sleek, compact design and extremely minimal noise output, you won’t even know that your Husqvarna Automower® is there! The sound level on robotic mowers is very low, 69 dB(A) down to 58 dB(A) depending on the model. This is significantly less than that of average conventional mowers, which generate between 95 and 100 dB(A). This means that you can even have your Husqvarna Automower® running at night with little to no disturbance.
The Husqvarna Automower® is protected from theft in several ways. A pin code is required for any intervention, whilst an alarm will immediately sound if the code is ignored when the mower is stopped or lifted. It cleverly becomes useless when stolen, as it cannot be matched to other charging stations. Also, when reported stolen, it will be red-listed in all Husqvarna support records.
The Husqvarna Automower® is battery-driven and comes with a charging station, connected to your electrical garden outlet. We particularly love that it comes with no cords and has no fuel emissions. Once it is done mowing, it automatically returns itself to the charging station before setting out for you again. Once you have set it up, your job is done!
Start by preparing your lawn area. Whilst the Husqvarna Automower® can navigate its way around obstacles, it is still a good idea to remove any large obvious items such as rocks, to minimise unnecessary damage to your Automower®.
Also, if your grass is longer than ten centimetres – it is recommended to cut it with a regular lawn mower one last time.
Place the charging station on flat ground in the middle of the cutting area, with some free space around it. Make sure the station is free from direct sunlight, out of reach of sprinklers and close to a power outlet.
Once your charging station is in place, put the robotic mower in the charging station, and move on to the next step. (Charging an empty battery will take around 80-100 minutes).
The boundary wire is placed along the edges of the lawn, to define the cutting area. Simply attach the wire to the ground with the special nails enclosed in the package, and your robotic mower will know exactly where to turn.
TIP: Put “islands” of wire around flowerbeds and bushes to keep the mower from running into them.
The purpose of the guide wire is to lead your Husqvarna Automower® back to the charging station when needed.
Connect one end to the station and place the wire straight across the farthest part of your yard, so that the robotic mower can find it easily. The other end is attached to the boundary wire where they intersect. Both the boundary and the guide wire are then connected to the charging station.
Turn on your Husqvarna Automower®, select your four-digit pin code, adjust the cutting height and set the work hours. That’s it – you can now sit back, relax and enjoy the benefits!
Your robotic mower will charge until ready before it heads out – at which point you have officially mowed the lawn for the last time!
